Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SteadyReply, operated by 2723 Ventures LLC. By using SteadyReply you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. SteadyReply is built for adults navigating difficult communication. We do not offer accounts to minors and do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

SteadyReply helps you understand a difficult message, draft a calmer and factual reply, and keep a dated record. SteadyReply uses artificial intelligence to generate suggested analyses and responses. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before using or sending it. Using SteadyReply does not create an attorney-client relationship and does not guarantee any legal, relational, or other outcome. See our Important Legal Notice.

Analyses and drafts in SteadyReply are generated by artificial intelligence. They are suggestions for you to review, edit, and decide on. They are not statements of fact.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or incorrect interpretations. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated content before relying on it or sending it to anyone.

SteadyReply does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, counseling, or crisis intervention services. Nothing generated by SteadyReply should be considered a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

SteadyReply is not an emergency service and is not monitored by humans. Any safety resources shown in the app, such as hotlines and emergency numbers, are provided for convenience only. If you or anyone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

SteadyReply does not provide legal advice, legal strategy, legal opinions, or legal representation. AI-generated analyses and suggested replies are informational tools only and should not be relied upon as a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.

You agree not to use SteadyReply to, or to attempt to:

• violate any law, regulation, or court order that applies to you;
• harass, threaten, stalk, defame, or harm any person;
• generate spam, fraud, threats, harassment, or illegal content;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• upload malicious code, malware, or anything designed to disrupt software;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code or underlying models of the service;
• interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated scripts to access the platform;
• share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

You are responsible for the content you submit and the messages you choose to send. If a court order governs how or where you communicate, complying with it is your responsibility. Using SteadyReply is not a substitute for compliance and is not a defense to a violation.

You are responsible for ensuring that any recordings, screenshots, messages, or other material you upload or share were obtained and used in compliance with applicable laws. Laws on recording conversations differ by state and country, including whether one party or all parties must consent.

Log entries and exports reflect what you submitted and saved, including any revisions, which SteadyReply preserves as a dated trail rather than overwriting. We do not guarantee that any record or export will be admitted, credited, or treated as authentic by any court, mediator, or proceeding. Rules of evidence vary by jurisdiction and those decisions belong to the court.

You are responsible for preserving any evidence you may need outside of SteadyReply. Keep your own copies of anything important.

You retain all rights to the content you put into SteadyReply: the messages you paste or import, the context you add, and the replies you save. You grant 2723 Ventures LLC a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. For example, sending a message you submit to our AI providers and trusted infrastructure providers to produce your analysis and drafts, and storing the log entries you save. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to submit what you paste in, including messages written by other people. In most places, saving a record of messages sent to you for your own documentation is lawful, but you are responsible for how you use and share that content.

Except for the content you submit, all software, branding, logos, text, graphics, designs, and technology used in SteadyReply remain the property of 2723 Ventures LLC. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership in them to you.

If you provide suggestions or feedback about SteadyReply, you grant us the right to use those suggestions without compensation, attribution, or obligation to you.

We process your content to provide the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete it at any time. Export formats may change over time.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information, but no service can guarantee absolute security. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss will never occur.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service, and we may suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons. We may modify, discontinue, or replace features at any time.

Beta or experimental features may contain errors and are provided without warranties of any kind.

Certain functionality depends on third-party services, including payment processing, hosting, email delivery, AI processing, and app store distribution. We are not responsible for outages, delays, or failures caused by those services.

By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails relating to your account, billing, security, and the operation of the service. These are not marketing emails and are part of providing the service.

If you believe content on SteadyReply infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to our designated agent. See our DMCA Notice page for the agent’s contact details and what a notice must include. On receiving a valid notice we will remove or disable access to the identified content and notify the user who posted it. That user may submit a counter-notice. If they do, we may restore the content in 10 to 14 business days unless you notify us that you have filed a court action. We may terminate accounts of repeat infringers.

Every new account includes a 7-day free trial of SteadyReply’s paid features, starting when the account is created. No payment method is required, and nothing is charged automatically: when the trial ends, paid features simply stop until you choose a subscription. Your saved records and log remain yours after the trial — you can view and export them at any time without a subscription. Each account is eligible for one trial; deleting and recreating an account does not grant another. We may change or end the trial offer at any time for new accounts.

Paid plans renew automatically, monthly or yearly per the plan you choose, and your payment method is charged at the start of each period until you cancel. Cancellation is one click, any time, from Settings, then Manage billing. It takes effect at the end of the current billing period, or for trials at the end of the trial, and you keep access until then. We’ll email you a confirmation the moment you cancel, so you have it on record. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details. If you purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is billed, renewed, and canceled through your Apple ID or Google account instead, and their refund policies apply, not the one above.

“Unlimited” plans are subject to fair personal use. We reserve the right to limit excessive automated usage, account sharing, scraping, or other activity that negatively affects the service or other users.

You can stop using SteadyReply and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users. Where practical we’ll notify you and, on request, provide an export of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

You agree to defend and hold harmless 2723 Ventures LLC and its officers and agents from claims, damages, and reasonable legal fees arising out of the content you submit, the messages you send, or your violation of these terms or of any law or court order, except to the extent caused by our own breach of these terms.

SteadyReply is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, 2723 Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or SteadyReply will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration will be held in Allen County, Indiana, or conducted remotely.

Class-action waiver: you and 2723 Ventures LLC agree that disputes will be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, consolidated, or representative proceeding.

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing hello@thesteadyreply.com with the subject “Arbitration opt-out”.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. For any proceeding not subject to arbitration, you and 2723 Ventures LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Allen County, Indiana.
